DEDAN Ministries is a marriage ministry headquartered in Cordova, Tennessee (just outside of Memphis). We help churches and organizations take proactive steps to build strong marriages by preparing engaged couples for marriage and also helping couples enrich their current marriages. By training your leader’s to us a very versatile and proven assessment tool known as PREPARE/ENRICH (created by Life Innovations), you can prepare couples for strong marriage, enrich current marriages, transform bad marriages and encourage good marriages. Our ministry is focused not only on the building of strong marriages, but also on sustaining strong marriages by creating effective marriage mentoring programs at your church.
Daniel Henley and his wife D’Juanna (Dee) Henley are the founders of both DEDAN Ministries and Journey Christian Church. In addition to their church teaching responsibilities, they direct marriage and relationship seminars both nationally and internationally. They are also the authors of the highly successful relationship books entitled, Empowering Right-Relationships, Every Woman-Every Man and The 7 Things Faith Needs. Dee and Dan (DEDAN) are highly sought after marriage and relationship counselors and together they Co-Pastor the Journey Christian Church, an intentionally multi-racial church located in Cordova, Tennessee.
We train those interested in helping couples to go back and lead a marriage mentoring program at their churches or organizations. While we do train many pastors and ministry leaders, it is important to note that you don't have to be a minister, pastor or counselor to be trained, but you must have a heart for marriages. Everything we do for individuals, couples, and/or families focuses on leading them into loving relationships, first to God, and then with one another. We strongly believe that love is the key to fulfilling marriages, nourishing children, and building families.
